LOUISE ESPITALIER-NOËL

Occupational Therapist

I am an Occupational Therapist, specialized in sensory integration.

Outside of New Born, I have been working at Life/Act since January 2023. In previous years, I have mainly worked with children with sensory, motor, school, behavioral difficulties, those on the autism spectrum, as well as those with disabilities such as Down Syndrome.

With New Born, I would like to go a step further by combining nature and animals to give a whole new dimension to therapy. I am convinced that animals are mediators and a "mirror of our emotions". I would like them to be my ally in these sessions, in search of well-being.

With the "Autrement" project that Manon Maujean and I are developing within New Born, we offer small group sessions for children, teenagers and young adults facing difficulties. Based on farm activities, therapy brings a real meaning to the heart of the sessions, which gives an authentic and realistic aspect. The group idea brings a lot to those who have difficulties socializing. Self-esteem, communication, understanding and management of emotions, and the relationship with the body are key objectives of our workshops.

Through different therapeutic mediations and farm activities, we aspire to accompany young people towards a new perception and understanding of their functioning.
